A letter from our President & CEO.
Dear Friends, Family, and Valued Partners,
20 years.
What a journey it has been. A journey marked by triumphs and challenges, filled with the echoes of countless stories, and shaped by the relentless pursuit of excellence.
As we celebrate our 20th year in business, I am filled with a sense of introspection and reflection. The passage of time has been both surreal and profound, and I am compelled to express my gratitude to each one of you who has played a role in our adventure thus far.
At the heart of our organization lies our unwavering commitment to “The Westcor Way.” It is a culture that transcends titles, credentials, and positions. A way of being that values people above all else, fosters open communication, and embraces each of our unique and valuable gifts. It’s a mindset that champions collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement, and it has become a living and breathing way of life at Westcor that has exceeded all of my expectations.
As I reflect on this milestone occasion, I am reminded of the true essence of leadership and the profound impact it has on our collective success. Leadership is not confined to the corner office or a spotlit podium, but resides within each of us. It’s a choice to inspire, empower, and elevate others, regardless of our roles or job titles. More than anything, it’s a responsibility to lead by example, to set the bar high, and to remember the most important aspect of what we do – the people and the relationships we build.
True leadership is a willingness to embrace change, take calculated risks, and push the boundaries of what is possible. It is a dedication to learning, growing, and evolving, and a recognition that leadership is not a destination, but a journey of self-discovery and self-mastery that we share with those around us.
For this, I am truly grateful.
At Westcor, our ethos of being People-First resonates deeply with my own philosophy. At the heart of every business, underneath the processes and management systems, the tools and strategies and dollar values, we are human beings. We believe that genuine human connection and collective efforts are the bedrock of success.
It is through our shared values and unwavering commitment to mutual respect and understanding that we have forged meaningful relationships with each one of you.
Our adherence to Lean Design & Construction principles reflects our constant pursuit of excellence and innovation. We strive to push boundaries, challenge the status quo, and continuously improve in order to deliver outstanding results to our clients.

As we look to the future with a sense of optimism and anticipation, I am excited about what lies ahead. Our vision of being the most highly recognized and respected mid-sized General Contractor and Construction Manager in Western Canada is inspired by the internal empowerment of our people and the realization of their full potential. When you take care of people, their natural response is to take care of others. The effects of caring are exponential.
It has been said that we cannot serve from an empty vessel. By encouraging autonomy and providing opportunities for fulfillment for our employees, they are free to fill their own vessels and deliver an exceptional client experience while doing their part to give back to the community that has helped shape who we are.
Equally important to us is our dedication to community service and giving back. We recognize that we are not isolated entities, but rather integral parts of the communities we serve. It is our responsibility and privilege to contribute positively to our local community and have a meaningful impact on the lives of those around us.
We are collaborators at heart, and many hands make light work. In the spirit of The Westcor Way, and in celebration of our 20-year milestone, we invite you to reach out and engage with us as we execute 20+ Acts of Kindness for those in need in continuation of our Building a Better Community initiative.
We are grateful to be surrounded by and work within one of the strongest construction markets there is, and we are proud to be members of an industry that is so devoted to the common good of our community.
Cheers to the next 20…
Yours sincerely,
Bob Robinson
President & CEO
Westcor Construction Ltd.
