About
The Calgary House Expansion doubles the facility's occupancy and allow families in need to gain access to RMHC Alberta’s comprehensive support networks.
The scope included an underground parkade and 3-storey concrete structure. The exterior wall assembly is wood framing with interior framing being steel stud. A wood truss roof structure completes the build along with all required mechanical, electrical, architectural, and landscape finishes.
The project was completed under a CCDC 5B Construction Management contract.
"We are determined to provide more space and amenities, such as dining areas, multipurpose rooms and family suites, doubling our current capacity. Our goal is to create a welcoming and inclusive environment so that families can focus on what’s important–their child’s health."
