Consisting of a modernization and addition to an existing school, the 2-storey masonry addition consisted of an automotive shop and esthetics lab. Westcor also renovated the foods and home education lab which included new HVAC, appliances and equipment, millwork, and flooring. The addition was connected to the existing school via a new +15 vestibule that was added by removing a large window on the second floor.

All of the work was completed while students and faculty occupied the building. The PDT worked closely with the school, parent groups, and faculty to ensure minimal disruption to the regular operations of the school. The construction of a welding shop for students entailed following safety protocols such as ensuring all welding gas piping and materials complied with the requirements of NFPA 51, CSA, and ABSA. The complete manifold system included the installation of acetylene, oxygen, and argon gases required to feed the welding booths.
