About
This modernization project upgraded this high school facility to house the first CBE career and technology center. The state-of-the-art CTC will provide career and industry-oriented technical education and training to thousands of students. Renovation work included the addition of a new front entrance and student gathering area, steel structure, metal clad siding, a flat roof, and a new parking lot all within an active school facility. The addition of a media communications data room was also included in the project.
Celebrated as 2015’s “Greenest School in Canada” by the Canada Green Building Council and the Canada Coalition for Green Schools, Lord Shaughnessy High School is a brilliant example of the effectiveness and success of “thinking green”. Collaboration, sustainability, and a genuine passion for providing opportunities for growth and development that will undoubtedly reverberate into generations to come are just a few of the reasons why we are grateful to have played a role in the success of this project.
