About
The new rink support building for the Parkdale Community Association was the second phase of a two-phase project to redevelop both the ice rink and the supporting infrastructure. Partnering with LOLA Architecture and the accessibility consultant team, Westcor collaborated extensively to provide value-added solutions to some of the unique constraints that arose once the construction of the design began.
Celebrating their grand opening on January 29th, the Association hosted the CBC and Sportsnet personalities,
along with members of the Calgary Flames Alumni and members of the Olympic Sledge Hockey team to
showcase the new facility and ring in a new standard among accessible rinks in Alberta.
